Since
receiving her Ph.D. in English from The University of Oklahoma, Susan
Smith Nash has spent a great deal of time on educational,
economic development, and literary projects in South America and
the former Soviet Union, particularly Paraguay, Brazil, Argentina,
Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Russia. Her essays, poetry,
and short fiction have appeared recently in 13th Moon, Gazetti
Litteraria (Baku, Azerbaijan), Talisman, La
Nación (Asuncion, Paraguay),
Sodobnost (Ljubljana, Slovenia), Outlet, and World
Literature Today.
Susan lives with her teenage son, Michael, and her beagle, Sammy,
in Norman, Oklahoma.
