Laura Moriarty was born in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1952. Her recent books are like roads (Kelsey St. Press), Rondeaux (Roof Books), L' Archiviste (Zasterle Press), The Case (O books), & Nude Memoir (Krupskaya). Persia co-won The Poetry Center Book Award in 1983. She received a Wallace Alexander Gerbode Foundation Award in Poetry in 1992. She currently the assistant director of Small Press Distribution.
