Gad Hollander's books are: Benching With Virgil (Avec Books, Penngrove, CA 2000), Walserian Waltzes (Avec Books, Penngrove, CA 2000), The Palaver (Book Works, London 1998), with visual work by Andrew Bick, Sleep, Memory (New Pyramid Press, London 1988) and Figures of Speech (edition fundamental, Cologne 1987). His work has appeared in the literary journals Curtains, Central Park, Acts, Temblor, Reality Studios, Paper Air, First Intensity and untitled. He has also directed the films/videos The Palaver Transcription (2000), Diary of a Sane Man (1990), shown at the Berlin Film Festival & broadcast on Channel 4 (UK); Euripides' Movies (1987); Background Music (Orphic) (1986) and Mnemosyne (1985). He lives in London, was born in Jerusalem and spent (in/un-) formative years in Queens, New York. |
